If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone.

Most small-business owners didn't start a business to do bookkeeping. It's the first thing to slip when the week gets busy — and the hardest thing to catch up on later.

You're behind on the books

Months of receipts and statements have piled up, and the longer it sits, the harder it feels to start.

Tax season is stressful

Every spring is a scramble — pulling numbers together at the last minute, hoping nothing was missed.

You don't really know your numbers

You're making decisions on gut feel because you don't have a clean profit-and-loss to look at.

Two ways to work together.

Straightforward services for small businesses. No long contracts, no surprise fees.

Ongoing

Monthly bookkeeping

A flat monthly retainer that keeps your books reconciled, your reports up to date, and your year-end ready — so you always know where the business stands.

One-time

Catch-up & clean-up

Behind a few months, or a few years? I'll review what you have, scope the work, and quote a fixed price to get everything reconciled and tax-ready.

How it works.

Simple, predictable, and built around modern, efficient workflows so nothing falls through the cracks.

  1. A quick call

A free 30-minute conversation so I can hear what you're working with and what you need.

  2. Review & quote

I take a short look at your current books, then send a clear, fixed-fee proposal — nothing hidden.

  3. Stay current, every month

Books reconciled, reports delivered on a predictable schedule, and a real person to ask when questions come up.

A note from the founder.

I started Belle Meade Bookkeeping because I kept meeting small-business owners in Nashville who were great at what they do — and quietly stressed about their books. Receipts in a shoebox. A QuickBooks file no one had touched in months. A nagging feeling that something at tax time was going to come back to bite them.

It doesn't have to be that way. Bookkeeping is just a system, and a good system done consistently is worth more than any clever trick. My goal is simple: give you books you can actually rely on, in a way that's fast, accurate, and priced so it makes sense for a small business.

I'm taking on a small number of founding clients right now at a founding rate. If you've been meaning to get this sorted, this is a good time to talk.

Tell me a little about your business and where the books are right now. If it's a fit, we'll go from there. If not, no pressure.
